Overview
An over-the-counter severe nighttime cold and flu product containing acetaminophen 325 mg (pain reliever/fever reducer), dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg (cough suppressant), doxylamine succinate 6.25 mg (antihistamine), and phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (nasal decongestant) per 15 mL dose.
Uses
Temporarily relieves nasal congestion, sinus congestion and pressure, cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, minor aches and pains, headache, fever, sore throat, runny nose, and sneezing.
Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and over: 30 mL every 4 hours. Maximum 4 doses per 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12: 15 mL every 4 hours. Children under 4: do not use. Do not use to make a child sleepy.
Side Effects
Drowsiness may occur. Use caution when driving or operating machinery. Avoid alcohol while using this product.
Interactions
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if taking warfarin or sedatives and tranquilizers.
Warnings
