Overview

Uses

Temporarily addresses cold and flu symptoms including nasal congestion, sinus pressure, cough, minor aches, headache, fever, and sore throat. Also helps loosen mucus and thin bronchial secretions.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and over: 30 mL every 4 hours. Children 6 to under 12: 15 mL every 4 hours. Children 4 to under 6: consult a doctor. Children under 4: do not use. Maximum 4 doses per 24 hours.

Side Effects

Stop use and ask a doctor if experiencing nervousness, dizziness, insomnia, or worsening symptoms persisting beyond 5-7 days.

Interactions

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if taking warfarin (blood thinner). Do not use with other acetaminophen-containing products or MAOIs.
