Finerenone's chemical name is ( 4S ) - 4-(4-cyano-2- methoxyphenyl)-5-ethoxy-2,8-dimethyl-1,4-dihydro-1,6-naphthyridine-3-carboxamide. The molecular formula is C 21 H 22 N 4 O 3 and the molecular weight is 378.43 g/mol. The structural formula is: Finerenone is a white to yellow crystalline powder. It is practically insoluble in water; and sparingly soluble in 0.1 M HCl, ethanol, and acetone.
