Cold relief combination containing Aspirin 325 mg (pain reliever/fever reducer), Chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg (antihistamine), and Phenylephrine bitartrate 7.8 mg (nasal decongestant).
Uses
Temporarily relieves symptoms due to a cold: minor aches and pains, headache, runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, sneezing, sore throat. Temporarily reduces fever.
Dosage
Adults and children 12+ years: take 2 tablets dissolved in 4 oz water every 4 hours. Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 12: do not use.
Side Effects
Stop use and ask doctor if allergic reaction occurs, signs of stomach bleeding appear, pain or congestion worsens or lasts 7+ days, fever persists 3+ days, or new symptoms develop. Excitability may occur in children. Drowsiness possible.
Interactions
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if taking prescription drugs for gout, diabetes, arthritis, or taking sedatives or tranquilizers.
