Oral pain relief lozenges containing benzocaine 15 mg and menthol 3.6 mg for temporary relief of sore throat and mouth pain.

Uses

Temporary relief of occasional sore throat, sore mouth, minor mouth irritation, and pain associated with canker sores.

Dosage

Adults and children 5 years or older: allow lozenge to dissolve slowly in mouth. May be repeated every 2 hours as needed or as directed by doctor or dentist. Do not use in a child under 5 years of age.

Side Effects

Stop use and ask a doctor or dentist if sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days or irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens.

Warnings

Allergy alert: Do not use if you have history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other caine anesthetics. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
