Uses

Helps prevent sunburn. When used with other sun protection measures, it decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Dosage

Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Shake well before use. Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.

Side Effects

Rash may occur. Keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove.

DESCRIPTION Prednisolone oral solution contains prednisolone which is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Prednisolone is a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is very slightly soluble in water, soluble in methanol and in dioxane; sparingly soluble in acetone and in alcohol, slightly soluble in chloroform.
