Uses
Uses: • Temporarily protects minor cuts, scrapes and burns. • Temporarily protects chapped or cracked skin. • Helps protect from drying effects of wind and cold weather.
Dosage
Directions: Apply as needed. Prepare a gauze bandage to apply. Dressing should be placed on a clean and flat surface. Apply ointment with a spatula, covering the entire surface with a thin layer. Place bandage directly on top of affected area. Make sure affected area remains covered by ointment.
Warnings
Warnings: • For external use only. • When using this product, do not get into eyes. • If condition worsens or does not improve for seven days, discontinue use and consult a physician. • DO NOT USE IF TAMPER EVIDENT SEAL IS BROKEN. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, contact physician or poison control center immediately. Other Information: Store at room temperature.

DESCRIPTION Oxacillin for Injection, USP is a semisynthetic penicillin antibiotic derived from the penicillin nucleus, 6-amino-penicillanic acid. It is resistant to inactivation by the enzyme penicillinase (beta-lactamase). It is the sodium salt in parenteral dosage form for intramuscular or intravenous use. Each vial of oxacillin for injection, USP contains oxacillin sodium monohydrate equivalent to 1 gram or 2 grams of oxacillin. The sodium content is 57.4 mg (2.5 mEq) per gram oxacillin.
